I had imported Breeze in 2002 from Ilse. She is a nice dog and I kept her daughter Nevada who is just super (and the rest of the litter as well! Great temperaments and already 2 ObChamps!!). I got to meet Flash (Silque Volcanic) in summer 2007 and really loved the old guy (9½ at the time), he reminded me of Tris, and in fact they were related.
When I heard that Ilse was going to have one final litter by Flash I jumped at the chance!
The name had to start with G, as all pups in 2007 in Belgium. Because Flash's reg.name is Volcanic, I chose a Chilean volcano for the pups' name; Guallatiri! And she's called Tiri for short.
Tiri arrived in March 2008 and went to live with Lotta and her family. They already had 2 other dogs and Lotta was interested in adding one more. :) Tiri will be doing obedience, agility and showing. I will be their "personal trainer" when it comes to obedience. ;)
Tiri is a very brave and outgoing puppy with a nice attitude towards other people, dogs and things. If things go as planned she'll have 2 litters to my kennel name. So she's one of the Cabaroo clan now. :))
Tiri is trained to do Agility and is very promising!
Thanks go to Ilse for letting Tiri come here. :)) Thanks to God-mother HeidiM for the help, and the courier who picked the pup up. Thanks also to Lotta and her family for taking her in and giving her a good start in life. We'll see where the road takes us.
It was a slight disappointment that Tiri's hips came back as C-B, the reason being the bowl is not as deep as it should be. But everything is smooth there so I still plan to use Tiri for breeding.
We've been to two breedshows and she got one EXC and one VG. She has lovely movement and a nice temperament. She also shows instinct with sheep.
